Eyelet cam or Buttonholer Attachment are not included. Dont forget to watch the video tutorial for how to make an eyelet hole using a vintage Singer Buttonholer Attachment on your Featherweight 221 or 222.
If you do not have a Buttonholer or eyelet cam to fit your Featherweight, or if you do not have a built-in eyelet function in your newer, modern machines that you can use, then there are many creative options for your center hole creation. Otherwise, follow the image links above for a tutorial and ordering information.
Note: The backside of the Mini Dresden Spool Pin Plate is purposely left unfinished because of it's tiny size. This also accommodates the center hole to be made more easily, and the softness of just the Dresden pieces allows it to conform and lay more flush with the spool pin plate... And, it will always be seen right side up. We've had our plates on our machines for years and they stay looking beautiful. However, feel free to be creative if you wish to add a backing. We've seen some customers use felt, leather, other fabric, etc... Just remember to accommodate the center hole for the spool pin! Have fun!
